Just starting out, or looking for more depth in a program you already run? We hold train-the-trainer sessions throughout the school year.
You do not need an IT background to teach this material well. Most of the teachers we work with came from somewhere else entirely — business, math, a different CTE area — and got there. Our sessions are built for that teacher, not for someone who already knows the content.
How training runs
- Train the trainer — multiple sessions across the school year, so you can start when your calendar allows.
- Course walkthroughs — how the MICE LMS courses are structured, where students get stuck, and what the labs expect.
- Ongoing coaching — the questions that come up in week six are different from the ones in week one.
Michigan educators can earn SCECHs — bring your PIC number. Outside Michigan, ask us about documentation for your state’s professional development requirements.
